Canada Agriculture
and Food Museum
At the heart of the Central Experi-
mental Farm — a working farm
and research centre located just
outside downtown Ottawa — is
the Canada Agriculture and Food
Museum, where small animals,
sheep, cows, and horses, as well as
traditional museum exhibits, edu-
cate visitors about food and farm-
ing. Their permanent exhibit Food
Preservation: The Science You Eat
showcases how science delays food
decay and keeps food safe from
farm to fork. Moving between the
barns means stepping outside for a
short walk, so dress for the weather.
