The new TV integrates a 3-channel SoundCentre and a visual appearance that mixes glass with coloured fabric or aluminium. “By merging LG Electronics’ OLED TV technology to the Bang & Olufsen experience, we have reached an even higher level and created the ultimate TV experience,” says Stefan Persson, executive vice president at Bang & Olufsen Home The TV’s integrated and 450W powerful three- channel SoundCentre offers both stereo performance and centre channel. The design draws on the classic Bang & Olufsen ideal of aesthetic simplicity, highlighting the importance of sound. The slim glass surface continues beneath the SoundCentre, which in turn expands beyond the screen on both sides. This makes for some exciting contrasts – between image and sound, slimness and volume. The motorised fl oor stand means that with a push of a button, the TV can be moved across the fl oor, creating a personalised viewing experience. In addition to the fl oor stand, BeoVision Eclipse can be placed on a motorised or manual wall bracket. The TV includes 4K video processing technology and comes with LG Electronics´most recent webOS 3.5 platform. The platform allows access and customisation of content, apps and devices including music streaming services like Spotify, content providers such as Netfl ix, Amazon and YouTube, Blu-ray players of any brand, as well as personal content. The audio streaming part includes TuneIn radio, Spotify Connect, Deezer, Chromecast built-in for audio, audio AirPlay and Bluetooth streaming. “BeoVision Eclipse is in many ways a fl exible solution for the modern consumer, and it represents another leap forward in the way we make TV’s,” concludes Stefan. Version 1.010.0038 highlights include integration with Sonos sound systems and Amazon Alexa software. Integrating Sonos with Crestron Pyng as a multi-room audio source is now easy. Pair Crestron Pyng with Sonos Connects to select and control Sonos favourites with Crestron touch screens, including the new TSW-560P 5” portrait model. For Amazon Alexa all that’s required is some simple confi guration steps. Once connected, Alexa automatically recognises rooms and scene names from Crestron Pyng for immediate voice control, such as ‘Alexa, tell Crestron it’s too hot in the kitchen.’ Custom installers can now pre-confi gure customer rooms, lighting loads, and modules off-site and then retrieve from the cloud on-site. No more double work planning and documenting systems for electricians and then having to recreate that entire process in the Crestron Pyng app while on-site. Now, installers can document and confi gure remotely in just one step. Clients can also create their own scenes and schedules for lighting and shades through user interfaces other than Crestron Pyng, such as mobile projects and touch screens generated by the residential version of Crestron Studio software.
