The speakers have physical depth of just 38mm, matching the popular ultra-thin TV screens that many customers desire. Providing uncompromising sound quality and high defi nition detail, the Mythos XTR is set to follow the US lead and become a fi rm favourite with UK installers who are looking to achieve a powerful audio setup and an aesthetically pleasing end result. Defi nitive Technology boasts impressive subwoofer options. The SuperCube range combines digital amplifi ers and front-mounted drivers to pack phenomenal power as well as some serious in-wall options too. Gallo Acoustics’ David Baxter is convinced that there is still scope for beautifully designed speakers on display. “Our brand is testament to the fact that there is a strong demand for more ‘visible’ loudspeakers, hidden solutions such as in-ceiling speakers are obviously massively popular, but they are not necessarily perfect for every application or environment”, he says. “Some clients will prefer to have something more visible, whether to make an aesthetic statement through design or colour, or to achieve optimal acoustic performance which isn’t possible with a down-fi ring in-ceiling speaker.” Gallo’s high-end compact loudspeaker range boasts the Micro SE and A’Diva SE. A single driver design employs a proprietary, ultra-wide dispersion fl at-diaphragm transducer that covers a frequency range from 80Hz to 22kHz. This allows the SE models to perform as true audiophile standard loudspeakers – without the large enclosures or hefty price tag. The result, says the maker, is beautifully small speakers that sound ridiculously good, with a vivid, crystalclear 3D sound stage that remains stable regardless of the listening position. These ranges are soon to be joined by hanging ‘pendant’ versions, known as DROP. David continues: “A wall mounted speaker is also ideal for overcoming challenging construction constraints that prohibit the use of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers. We are expanding our product offering to maximise the number of situations where our products can be used.” The fl agship Strada 2 is a thoroughly modern audio visual loudspeaker, offering amazing performance in any application, whether it’s up-close on a desktop or in stereo and home cinema systems, regardless of room size or the mounting option chosen.  Two versions are available, allowing placement- specifi c setup. The standard Strada 2 is designed to be mounted vertically, while the Strada 2 Centre sits horizontally, each supplied with the user’s choice of wall or table mount. The TR-3D subwoofer has been specifi cally designed to compliment Gallo’s loudspeaker range.
