Essential Install | News Quest End is targeting architects, developers and interior designers with its new showroom Quest End Opens Demo Space Targeting BuiltEnvironment Professionals Home automation solutions supplier, Quest End has opened a new demonstration space aimed at spreading the word on automation and providing professionals a place to learn more and simplify the process of including technology in their projects. Key trades the company wants to visit the facility include architects, developers, land agents, mechanical engineering consultants and interior designers needing the kind of one call service for automation the company is offering. Quest End managing director, Liam Parker, says: “Easier installation and declining costs means that the home automation market is far more accessible than ever before and, with UK consumers now beginning to understand the benefits it brings, the market is set for sharp upward growth. “Yet for property developers, architects and interior designers and other professionals who are looking to incorporate home automation into their projects, the main challenge is understanding what is possible and making it work. Our roots here at Quest End are firmly set in both the technology sector, having previously sold a very successful IT company, and also property development; we are therefore very well placed to provide the necessary technical expertise to support those professionals in bringing this into their offering.” Quest End is headquartered in Maidenhead, Berkshire, where its new Experience Centre offers visitors the chance to see and try many of the solutions available. Partnering with companies including Crestron, Savant, Loxone, Artcoustic, Sonos, Jaymar, Robomow and Ad Notam, Quest End is a member of CEDIA. The company says it will provide a bespoke broad range of property automation solutions including security, home cinema, multi-room audio and video, automated shading, control systems, lighting control, smart heating and energy monitoring. Liam concludes: “We invite architects, property developers, land and property agents, mechanical engineering consultants and interior designers to come and meet the team at our Experience Centre in Maidenhead to see examples of automation and control systems in action. “We have a fantastic Cinema at Home suite which includes 4D motion chairs and can also showcase a wide range of lighting, audio and video and security solutions. We are looking to partner with firms across the region that wish to offer automation services to their clients as an added value service and so look forward to demonstrating our expertise.” More Information: Quest End +44 (0)1628 290640, www.questend.co.uk City Home Cinema Goes Art Deco City Homes Cinemas has opened its recently refurbished demo suite in Art Deco style City Home Cinemas is getting ready to swing up the doors to its new Art Deco home cinema showroom in Eltham, London, with the grand opening taking place on October 6 2016.
