Crestron ’ s EMEA showroom in the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour was created as a key attraction for those looking to incorporate home technology into their interior designs and also serves as a resource for Crestron integrators to showcase the latest solutions to clients . Unveiling the new look , Robin van Meeuwen , Crestron EMEA CEO said : “ The showroom is a fantastic example of collaboration – not only between Crestron and a number of our technology partners , but also with leading brands from the interiors worlds . The blend of cutting edge technology with innovative textiles , furnishings and decorative fittings delivers a truly unique space for our integrators and designers to bring their clients . Our Chelsea Showroom now brings together a compelling selection from leading brands in the interior design world .”
In redeveloping the showroom , Crestron has partnered with brands from the world of high-end design , to create a luxurious and immersive smart home experience . New for the redesign is Crestron ’ s 4K DigitalMedia solution in the newly designed family room , complete with Essence and Aspire speakers and flush mounted Cameo Keypads . The showroom also displays the latest remotes including the TSR-302 / HR-150 / HR-100 as well as the latest collaboration with Sonos enabling the Sonos App to be integrated with Crestron home automation systems .

Oceanair has appointed Kevin Sharp as head of residential and commercial sales . This is one of many newly created roles at Oceanair this year to handle the increasing demand in the company ’ s residential division of the business . The appointment of Kevin will also support the company ’ s aims to increase business in the commercial sector and grow relationships with existing ‘ on-land ’ clients , to complement the large ‘ marine ’ division of Oceanair .
Kevin has many years of senior management experience , including running his own blind company with shops and manufacturing facilities . With a wealth of experience , Kevin will oversee a team of sales managers in the Oceanair residential , commercial and hospitality markets .
Oceanair has also appointed two new project managers , James Wood and Thomas Farr , both with backgrounds in window treatments and construction knowledge .
James brings industry experience with him , having previously worked with highend residential clients . Alongside his residential project work , James will be Oceanair ’ s prime contact for the company ’ s US projects business . Thomas also comes from a project management background , bringing a high level of passion to the role , with experience working for high net worth individuals . Thomas will be Oceanair ’ s contact for the expanding cruise ship projects business .
