Essential Install | Products Back-In-Black With Sanus And AWE Featuring a low profile design, the mount sits just 1.6in from the wall AWE and SANUS are announcing the launch of the Black Series of purpose-designed TV mounts looking to combine the best in functionality, aesthetics and ease of installation. The Black Series will be an exclusive line offered to installers via AWE. Having spent time with installers to understand ‘exactly what they need,’ the manufacturer says it has designed and engineered this range to meet all their requirements. Featuring five mounts, including large and x-large full motion, tilting and fixed position models and supporting accessories, SANUS says it is able to provide a suitable mount for every screen need. With popular sizes constantly shifting, these mounts can support TVs ranging between 37in to 100in. Quick release tabs allow the TV to unlock instantly from the wall plate and the products also have the SANUS ProSet adjustment feature for post install adjustment. Installers are able to hide small peripheral devices within the smart components panel. The fixed mounts incorporate ClickStand technology to hold the bottom of the TV away from the wall for cable access. “Partnering with AWE a year ago was a great strategic move for both businesses,” comments David Godfrey, SANUS’ director sales and marketing EMEA. “We are now building on this collaboration by offering AWE UK exclusivity over the new SANUS Black high-end residential focused Series. This approach ensures that installers have access to the perfect combination of high quality products, outstanding customer service, first class training and technical support.” More information: AWE +44(0)1372 729 995, www.awe-europe.com Domotz Makes Violet Appy Domotz wants Violet to help installers make more friends with end-users Domotz, provider of network monitoring and remote tech support systems, has announced the launch of its customer-facing App called Violet Digital Support. The manufacturer says the App enables Domotz PRO Dealers to improve client care, increase client engagement, build recurring monthly revenue and give their customers something tangible to support monthly fees. “Violet is an amazing tool that can revolutionise remote support schemes,” says Domenico Crapanzano, CEO & founder of Domotz. “The Violet Digital Support App is something tangible that Domotz PRO Dealers can give to their customers and say ‘here, this is for you’. This is how our organisation provides unmatched client care – it’s easy, nonintrusive and leverages the best available technology to ensure you have a consistently enjoyable experience’.” The company thinks that because support schemes are traditionally invisible, end-users can question their value so with a more obvious client relationship, Violet is designed to help installers sell more managed service contracts and build greater recurring monthly revenue. The App delivers a customisable interface, remote power for rebooting (available to the end-user and installer) and network security so the home owner or installer can see who is on their network at any time and block undesired intruders or be notified when family members and guests join or leave the network. Other features include parental controls so portable devices can be locked, Internet speed analysis and for more complex issue a request support option. Violet is available on the App Store and Google Play and can be used by any qualifying Domotz PRO Dealer.
