The powerful WyreStorm MX- H2X matrix line will launch early next year
Labgear has recently updated its flagship 8x8 HDMI matrix . The new HD2-MX8X8-70K is the manufacturer ’ s new HDBaseT version , ready for the 4K era with HDMI V2.0 and HDCP V2.2 . It ’ s supplied in a kit form with the matrix , eight receivers , IR receivers and senders and nine remote controls and Labgear says it is designed to be very straight-forward to set-up . All of the receivers are powered from the matrix and another bonus is that the matrix has mirrored outputs , so can feed up to 16 displays ( eight via HDMI , eight via Cat cable ).
The HD2-MX8X8-70K supports a full range of resolutions from VGA-to-WUXGA and HD from 480i-to- 4Kx2K @ 60Hz and delivers a reach of up to 70m using the uncompressed HDBaseT outputs . The matrix has the full range of control options via the panel buttons , the remote control , RS232 connection or TCP / IP .
HDanywhere ( HDA ) has had a very busy time of late , launching no less than 10 new products at the recent Essential Install Live ! event . The company ’ s founder , Chris Pinder , explains : “ The newest of the new in HDBaseT from a rejuvenated HDA covers the full spectrum of HDBT possibilities by utilising three chip types in the new XTND and MHUB ranges , the primary difference being 4K distance capability of 100 , 70 and 40 metres , all are PoE of course .”
The new line-up includes the XTND4K100 , which can deliver 4K with HDR 100 metres . The company says this is the first HDA extender to offer audio return in a lightweight and slender all-aluminium design .

released ; its rather lux backlit black touch panel framed in carbonite aluminium befits the most premium of rack spaces . The product delivers 4K up to 60m , fast Ethernet and powerful control . With inbuilt IP-2-IR abilities , it can enable installers to do more with less control hardware .

The HDBaseT Class B MX-PP-POH line includes a new 6x6 model to accompany the existing 8x8 and 16x16 offerings , as well as a 4x4 kit comprising matrix with four low profile receivers .
