continues, there is
not always the room to

So Vision has come up with
a solution in the Techmount, a
simple, fl exible wall bracket.
The product fi xes Smartdock to a wall, or to an articulated VESA

angle, or it can be vertical.
The Techmount has been designed exclusively for the Smartdock product with the Logitech
product fi xing to the shelf with screws on the underside out of sight which cannot be removed.
The mount has 75 x 75mm holes on the wall plate, so it can be fi xed directly to a wall, or fi xed to
an articulated wall or desk mount and comes in black.

Control4 Unveils Powerpak Line Of Power Control Devices

Control4 has announced the new Pakedge PowerPak family of power control devices, enabling
Control4 and Pakedge dealers to remotely remediate problems and avoid onsite service visits.
PowerPak PDUs provide centralised power control and management with surge protection for
all equipment in each project. The inclusion of BakPak technology also means that dealers can
monitor and manage PowerPak PDUs for their entire customer base via a single interface.
New features of the PowerPak line include thresholds for current and voltage draw and self-
healing for non-responsive devices. The Pakedge PowerPak PDUs have built-in UL1449 surge
protection and also leverage SafeStart boot sequencing to power on devices such as modems,
routers and switches in the right order ensuring proper reset. The PowerPak family consists of
nine outlets for the U.S. and North America and eight with IEC plugs for international markets.
Devices powered with a PowerPak PDU can be managed in a group or individually with
port-level control and monitoring. Using BakPak, technicians can now defi ne voltage and current
thresholds for connected devices, receiving alerts if a device exceeds these thresholds and may
be experiencing issues.
PowerPak outlets are individually controllable through telnet or web browser and can also be
pre-programmed. A new Control4 driver enables automated and programmed outlet control within
a Control4 project, allowing dealers to add intelligent power control to any device not connected
to the network.
