MFP8 IE Cat . 6 A : For new freedom in structured cabling

Telegärtner has enlarged the successful MFP8 product family with the new MFP8 IE Cat . 6A , which combines the advantages of the proven MFP8 and MFP8- 4x90 connectors . MFP8 IE can be used for various kind of communication systems such as Ethernet , HD-Base-T and HDTV systems that support 4K resolutions . This industrial connector has an innovative cable gland , which is designed for cable diameters between 5.5mm to 10mm and subsequently is capable for installation with special installation cables and patch cables having multiple EMI shields . The highly effective strain relief of the MFP8 IE Cat . 6A makes it also suitable for use in harsh industrial environment . With its connector interface according to EN 60603-7-51 , the MFP8 IE is suitable for solid and stranded
conductors and is designed for Cat . 5 , Cat . 6 , Cat . 6A , Cat . 7 and Cat . 7A cables , wire insulation diameter in a range of 0.85-1.6mm . Like the other connectors of the MFP8 product family , the MFP8 IE Cat . 6A makes use of the tested and proven IDC connection technology and can be assembled on-site without the use of special tools . Parts of the shielded body are hinged for easy field installation and still securely attached to prevent them from getting lost . Insertion and withdrawal in confined spaces has been made easy with the long release latch . The preassembled protection cap offers effective protection of contacts from dirt and damage in transit as well as during assembly . Its 360 ° shield contacting also offers secure interference protection in challenging IT environments and the robust zinc die-cast housing with hardened and tempered finish prevents electrical interference . It is available with four-chamber wire manager , colour code T568A , T568B and PROFINET . The MFP8 IE also supports PoE + applications in which terminating equipment such as IP cameras or WiFi access points can be supplied with both data and power . MFP8 IE Cat . 6A is the RJ45 plug for time-saving and efficient on-site assembly for all networks , from Voice right through to 10 Gigabit Ethernet .
