Shade Simplicity
Habitech ’ s association with Legrand gains greater traction through our value-added support for Qmotion , the newest member of our product line-up . Its innovative pièce de résistance is an amazingly efficient wireless shade design , which integrates batteries with a unique spring-loaded mechanism for long battery life ( up to five years ). Just like a spring-assisted garage door ( both Qmotion and the door mech were invented by the same genius ), the energy is shared between raise and lower for a smooth , efficient , near silent action . Installation and operation are a plug ‘ n ’ play synch with setup via the Qmotion App and control through a choice of App , dinky RCU , Zigbee or third-party driver through Qmotion ’ s Qube interface . Oh , and Qmotion integrates with C4 out-of-the-box . What ’ s more , unlike virtually all other powered blinds , you can adjust the shade position manually by simply tugging the bottom bar . Wired models are also available .

Beautifully designed with really useful installation features , they shift the application quality for this speaker genre decisively up a gear . Available in 4in , 6.5in , 8in twoway ( pivoting tweeter ) configurations together with 8in woofer models , they ’ re built for extremely low distortion , wide dispersion and exceptional reliability . The Pendant designs are supplied with hanging hardware kits that include two 15in stainless steel suspension cables with snap hook and two Gripple hangers to ensure a safe and secure installation . A front-mounted tap selector makes it easier to adjust the speaker once installed and for the finishing flourish , a unique integrated top cover hides the hanging hardware and wiring connector , when viewed from above .
iPort xPRESS
Sonance sister brand iPort used ISE to show off its neat little xPRESS Wi-Fi keypad for Sonos – the first of its kind . It ’ s designed to work from the box after easy network setup to control key music functions like play / pause , track forward , volume control and to toggle Sonos favourites . The XPRESS is a very inexpensive way to enhance the Sonos experience , but more interesting for our integrators is the prospect of assigning xPRESS functionality to the hard buttons on iPort ’ s ‘ Surface Mount with Buttons ’ iPad mount .
