VIN ROOM : This local wine bar has two other locations in Calgary , though this location has several unique features including the largest installations of Enomatic Wine Preservation systems in Canada , power outlets and USB ports at every seat , complimentary wifi , a mobile business centre , and blankets . THE KITCHEN BY WOLFGANG PUCK : This is the first full-service restaurant in a North American airport for celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck . This particular concept is casual , family-friendly , and offers globally-inspired staples including salad , pasta , pizza , and meats .
SPOLUMBO ’ S : Every Calgarian knows this is where to pick up fresh meats and sausages , and now visitors can do so too on the journey home .
COCOCO CHOCOLATERIE BERNARD CALLEBAUT ®: Pick up some sweet treats from this local chocolate company that uses cocoa and cocoa butter from sustainable farms , and no preservatives , in their popular chocolates .
LAMMLE ’ S WESTERN WEAR & TACK : Cowboy up for your visit to Calgary with hats , boots , denim , and plaid at this Canadian retailer .

The centralized amenities allow for a continuous boarding process at North America ’ s first callto-gate-system ; passengers wait in the node until their gate is announced close to departure .

No need to wonder whether you have time to browse without missing your flight — now 90 per cent of the shops and restaurants ( about 50 in total ) are located past security . “ Customers and passengers have been telling airport authorities for a long time that they have a high level of stress related to missing their flight ,” says Poirier . ART
The new terminal provides a gallery experience while you wait , with fifteen pieces of art by nine Canadian artists . From wire and stone animals to tin trees and landscape paintings , there are a variety of mediums and depictions of nature . “[ The art ] brings Alberta inside the terminal for all of our visitors to see ,” says Garth Atkinson , then-President and CEO of the Calgary Airport Authority . “ This is a great addition to the terminal , it really demonstrates the beautiful places and animals and natural environment in Western Canada .” Seven stunning photos of Southern Alberta landscapes , taken by local photographers for YYC ’ s Capture Alberta Through Your Lens photo contest , supplement the art installations .
YYC LINK PASSENGER SHUTTLES
These unique , custom bus-like shuttles are complimentary and transport travellers get between gates . “ Calgary wanted to have something a little bit different , something efficient and fun that could hold around ten passengers , move people quickly from one end of the building to the other , and just provide a really nice customer care experience ,” says Debbie Stahl , the Calgary Airport Authority ’ s director of passenger experience .
