Messe Frankfurt is one of the
than 30 locations around the globe.
Messe Frankfurt organizes Techtextil, the leading international
trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens and the biannual
highlight of the sector. Techtextil has been bringing together
all product groups and areas of application of technical textiles,
nonwovens and functional apparel textiles in Frankfurt am Main
since 1986. From 4 to 7 May 2015 at least 1,330 exhibitors and
27,400 trade visitors are expected to come to the event. This
includes around 600 exhibitors that offer innovations for the
Buildtech area. The Techtextil brand with its six international
trade fairs in five countries is part of Messe Frankfurt’s successful
portfolio with over 40 textile shows around the world.

Technical info and applications
Techtextil 2013 presented many innovative textile materials from
cellar to roof. This included energy-efficient membranes for
roof structures and facades, geotextiles for external wall
insulation and earthquake protection fabrics. In addition, textilereinforced concrete continued to be a main topic for building
engineers and architects.
