Sitting under the brolly at 7am,
with a cup of tea straight off the
stove it feels like a fish would
just be a bonus but we all know
we are there for the beep, the
run and the anticipation of what
could be...
I had myself some holidays to take
before they ran out so grabbed a
Thursday at short notice and decided to head out for a day’s fishing. I packed up all my gear on the
Wednesday night and what has
become a ritual the night before
fishing carefully going through all
my traces, checking all my tools
and packing the rucksack in an organised way so I know where I everything is when I get to my venue.
To me, it’s all part of the excitement of the days fishing, even if my
other half sits watching constantly
reminding me how sad I am, they
have no idea!!
