Take two egg yolks, beat up with the two table spoons of sugar until thickened, add lager (500ml) and warm up to 50o Celsius. Add half a tea spoon of cinnamon, lemon zest and a few cloves. Drink hot before sleeping! When you feel the first symptoms of cold, it is good to sweat. Keep your legs in hot water with sea salt, take a hot bath and drink a hot tea. After you have sweated a lot, change your clothes and stay in bed! Drink a lot of hot tea! (Herbs like thyme, linden blossom and raspberry leaf are better. If you don’t have any, take any other tea.) Take half a glass of warm water, put into the water half a tea spoon of apple vinegar and a full tea spoon of honey. Stir and drink. This is recommended if you have a high temperature. Grate a ginger root into hot water, add a little bit of lemon juice and honey. This tea is especially good if you are coughing and have a runny nose. By Agne Balciene (ESOL 2)
