Trip to the mountains If there is a chance for a little break, you’re bored and you can’t decide how to positively spend your free time let me to advise you to take a trip to the mountains. As you know, Scotland is famous for its mountain massifs. Living in Angus you have a great opportunity to get there. The Highlands begin just beyond Glen Isla and Glen Clova continuing to Glen Doll. At those points of interest you can start your own journey. They extend over to the West coast of Scotland. Those mountains form the Cairngorm National Park, which covers 4,528 km² and stretches from the East of Scotland to the Western Highlands. The more convenient way of transport is a car. I would suggest you to go to Glen Doll for a day out with your family. It has a large car park with picnic area but unfortunately you need to pay £2 for it. At the car park you can find a ranger centre with all the information you need and it has WC facilities. From there you can take routes according to the level of difficulty.
