We offer targeted financial assistance to support students . We currently offer a bursary of £ 1500 for each year of their programme to care experienced students , care leavers , and to students from a deprived area ( IMD Quintile 1 ) or a low-participation area ( POLAR4 Quintile 1 ) who have a household income below £ 25,000 . Students can be assessed for bursaries when applying for student finance , or can choose to contact us separately . Care leavers , students from low-income backgrounds and those from POLAR4 Quintile 1 areas are also eligible for laptop loans on request . Some applicants can also claim expenses for travel to open days .
