and served with local sweet potato and chorizo croquettes, plus
fluffy couscous, rukau (local taro leaves cooked in coconut cream),
a salty olive tapenade, steamed vegetables, red pepper pesto, and
jus. You must try it. We also had the twice cooked pork belly, which
came with marquis potatoes, grilled local pineapple, caramelised red
onions, vegetables, and a fig jus. The jus was exceptional, adding
both sweet and tart flavours to an otherwise savoury dish.
To finish we had the cheesecake, devastatingly simple, house made
and served with fresh local fruit and a berry coulis. The chocolate
and baileys fudge tiramisu was just as delicious, served with fresh
local fruit and a divine vanilla ice cream.
