SOLUTIONS FOR OXYGEN ANALYSIS

O 2

Oxygen( O 2) concentration is an essential measurement throughout the Air Separation Unit( ASU) process. O 2 forms approximately 21 % of atmospheric air, so is often found as an impurity in nitrogen and argon streams. In addition, O 2 gas product quality is another critical measurement for ASUs, and our Paramagnetic sensor confirms this measurement for both medical and industrial applications.

SERVOPRO MonoExact DF310E
A high-performance multi-gas analyzer, the SERVOPRO MultiExact 4100 provides up to four simultaneous gas stream measurements, including O 2, carbon dioxide( CO 2), carbon monoxide( CO), nitrous oxide( N 2 O), methane( CH 4), and moisture, making it an ideal workhorse analyzer for any ASU gas analysis systems.
For O 2 measurements, it can be configured with Paramagnetic or Zirconia sensing technology, which are both proven, non-depleting digital sensors offering accuracy and precision, especially at the low and high concentrations required for ASUs.
Paramagnetic sensing takes advantage of the magnetic property of O 2, which has a higher affinity within a magnetic field. It delivers fast, accurate, and sensitive measurements of O 2 at percentage levels.
The Zirconia sensor utilizes a cell made of yttriumstabilized ceramic zirconium oxide, and measures oxygen at ppm levels, ideal for detecting O 2 as an impurity.

Designed specifically for use in industrial gas applications, the SERVOPRO MonoExact DF310E is a digital analyzer that combines accurate trace-level measurement for O 2 as an impurity within Ar and N 2. It ' s packed with features including an icon-driven guided user interface( GUI), advanced digital communications and downloadable diagnostics, which allow almost all service issues to be diagnosed remotely.
The Coulometric sensor is a highly sensitive, capable method of detecting ppb-level oxygen, with an excellent range. It’ s also very useful for applications which are prone to upset, as ranges span from 100 to 10,000 ppm.
If higher ranges are required, the MonoExact DF310E can be configured with a Paramagnetic sensor, for percentage O 2 measurements between 0-25 %.
The MonoExact DF310E also offers plug-and-play operation for the AquaXact 1688 moisture probe, allowing a dual measurement of O 2 and H 2 O, two of the main impurity monitoring requirements within ASU plants.
