14. Measure the string for the crosses and check for
defects.
15. Leave enough string to fit in the tensioning head.
16. Start the crosses 1 cross below the last outside
main.
17. Weave the 2 or 3 cross strings through loosely.
18. Decide whether or not to use a starting block due
to the distance of the first cross to the tie-off hole.
19. Weave 1 ahead and straighten the mains and
crosses as you go down.
20. Add 4 kilos to the last string and tie-off both
crosses.
