MSV hepta twist 1.25mm - STRING TEST
Twisted monofilament strings are well known by stringers and MSV HEPTA TWIST 1.25mm is a sort of a
standard in this category of polyester twisted shaped strings.
This 7 sided string, available in various gauges going from 1.15 to 1.30mm are a very good choice for all the
players looking for a powerful and high spin oriented string.
The MSV HEPTASPIN TWIST 1.25mm static stiffness of the string is medium, so we can use this polyester
monofiliament for good young players as well as for competitive tournament players looking for a string setup
able to give energy and liveliness to their stringbed.
Due to the string twisted shape, the dynamic stability is quite good but you could feel a natural tension change
after the firsts 2-3 hours of play; in this case if you want to limit the tension loss and have a more constant and
stable response, you can adjust using a 10-15% pre-stretch combined with a -10% tension reduction during
stringing.
The MSV HEXASPIN TWIST ball exit speed is fast and ability to produce spin is very high considering the un-
twisting action on the string during the ball contact. The power perception is very high with a good ball
repulsion despite of the screw shape and we have to work on slightly higher tension to have a perfect balance
between reactivity and control.
