www.ersa-stringers.com STRING TEST DUNLOP SILK PRO 1.32mm - STRING TEST Multifilaments are not always the first choice in the tennis market today, but sometimes the quality and performance of these "soft" strings need to be taken into serious consideration as a possible alternative for our racquets, with a full bed string job as well as for hybrid combination. This new DUNLOP SILK-PRO 1.32mm, (also available in 1.22mm gauge), is a top quality tennis string built with polyamide microfilaments bonded in a polyurethane matrix building, it is something unique and with a sensational quality. The SILK-PRO is a natural evolution of the well known SILK and takes the string to the next level in terms of durability, comfort and overall playability. The static stiffness of the string is low (0.60-0.65kg/mm) and the string, like all the other multifilaments built with polyamide microfilaments, tends to have an increasing stiffness with an increasing load. So if you are looking for top comfort then you have to avoid stringing over 24-25kg. The maximum resilience range goes from 18 to 22kg and the recommended tension is 20-24kg, depending on the racquet, the style and the player’s needs. 25 ERSA PRO STRINGER // ISSUE 5-2019
