MSV CO-FOCUS 127 - STRING TEST

The MSV CO-FOCUS is a classic monofilament from the German brand MSV, well known around the world for
their monofilaments and multifilaments. This month we tested the 1.27mm gauge, the most competition
oriented version of this group of strings.
The CO-FOCUS, available in 1.18 - 1.23 - 1.27mm gauges is a round co-polyester monofilament with a
smooth and slick finish with a strong disposition to competition; but let's see in detail what are the main
features of this string.
The static stiffness, measurement of the elongation and rigidity of the string describe a medium-tough string
with a constant and regular response throughout the tension range. You can string at the preferred tension
range with no surprises varying the tension and obtaining a linear response from the material. The 0.90-
0.95kg/mm value is not an extremely high value and the string tests as a stiff string but not an extremely stiff
string good for players with good technique and medium-fast to fast strokes.
