MSV FOCUS HEX SOFT 125
MSV FOCUS HEX is a well known modern classic for the polyester strings panorama; the new choice
proposed by the German Brand with Taiwan top-quality production is a slightly softer version of the "good old"
FOCUS and has been called FOCUS HEX SOFT, available in 1.15-1.20-1.25 and 1.30mm gauges.
This new string is not too different from the precedent, with similar base material, same hexagonal shape and
superficial finish but we could sign a -10/15% static stiffness value comparing with the "older version".
The static stiffness test evidences a tough string with a racing attitude, intended for medium to advanced
players with solid shots and good power production. Recommended average stringing tensions are medium-
low going from 18 to 22kg to exalt the natural resilience response of the string.
The material response is very linear and the response will be progressive increasing the stringing tension.
The dynamic stiffness, is quite high but we can't expect something different from a poly string with racing
attitude. The values are 230-225g/mm  220-215lbs/inch. The comfort is not the main attitude of this string
but we can work on it using low tensions as well as hybrid combinations with smaller gauges, multi-filaments or
natural guts, in standard or reverse versions.
