We had a great year with a record number of certification tests the last 3 months. We had over 70 tests given in 60 days from Professional Stringer to Pro Tour Stringer in tennis and badminton. Also, we had almost 100 new members the last quarter of 2018. Outlook for 2019 is even better with our Cambridge Symposium in April and an Asian Symposium in October, along with workshops in several new countries. The new Pro Stringer Guide will be sent out with 2019 Membership Cetificates in January. This issue includes some of the new Tools and an Intro to our new website. The programmers are making some corrections on some Tools this week so please be patient. We are busy adding new data into the tools such as 2018 rackets, strings and Pro Player Logs. There is a lot of Industry News this Issue especially with the changes in Tennis Euope, the ITF, ATP and WTA. Also included is some additional information on the Symposium. The venue is great at St. Catherines College in Cambridge with many things to see and do in the area. We hope to see many of you attending this year. Many new additional presentations and workshops for badminton and squash stringers are being added to our program in Cambridge. The website for the 2019 Symposium will be online in the next days as soon as a few items are confirmed. Looking forward to seeing many of you in the next 12 months. I will be travelling to Australia in January for the Australian Open. Please contact me if you are there and have time to meet up. Mark Maslowski ERSA PRO STRINGER // ISSUE 9-2018
