Tecnifibre was for the third time the official stringing service of the 50th edition of the City
Open in Washington DC, WTA and ATP events running from July 27 - August 5, 2018. The WTA event was
won by Kusntesova and the ATP event was one by A. Zverev.
The stringing service was located near the center court with direct access to the players area. 5
stringers provided the stringing service, 2 French stringers and 3 American stringers.
915 rackets were strung, up from 833 last year.
In the ATP event, Alexander Zverev, the winner of the tournament was the biggest consumer who
strung 37 rackets and Andy Murray strung 29 and Kei Nishikori 24.
In the Women’s event Yulia Putensevawas the biggest consumer who strung 22 rackets with Naomi
Osaka with 13.
