www.ersa-stringers.com STRING TEST DUNLOP SILK SPIN 1.30mm - STRING TEST One of the new strings for the DUNLOP line is this SILK SPIN, available in 1.25 and 1.30mm gauges. We're talking about a multifilament string but with an hexagonal shape…. quite unusual for a multi tennis string! This polyamide-polyurethane string is built with more than 1200 nylon microfilaments inside and with an hexagonal external coating expressly created to limit string movement during the play and to use multifilament elasticity and ball cupping to give maximum performance in terms of power, spin and control. The average static stiffness is medium-low, 0.60-0.65kg/mm and let us understand we're in front of something wants to give player a gut-like feeling with soft impacts and high arm protection level. Also the dynamic stiffness is very low for a polyamide multi, and is quite close to the tough-natural guts on the market…. so we aspect for high comfort, feeling and progressive elastic response . 23 ERSA PRO STRINGER // ISSUE 3-2019
