2. Folks instruments
The most common musical instrument is the
flute. It is in a strong relation with the animal
growing, mostly with the shepherds. The sound is
gained through the complete stoppage or through
the opening with fingers of the lateral air holes so
that the air vibrates in the tube.
The bagpipe is made of a goat leather bag called
„burduf”. The air goes through it like in a tank, then
through a small pipe made of metal or bone. On the
bulkhead opposed to the pipe you find two flutes
which hermetic communicate with the interior. The
longest flute has a fixed sound that goes together with
the whole bagpipe’s tune.
During the tune, the bagpipe player compresses the
goatskin under his arm so that the air flows through
the flutes. This way, the short flute’s hole can be
handled with the fingers, just like a normal flute.
The bagpipe has elements of scupture. The goatskin
has the flutes made of scultured wood. Geometrical
figures are whittled on it or it has the shape of an
animal head, mostly goat head.
Another archaic instrument is the pan-pipe. It is made
of the sum of different reed or elder tubes, about
twenty of them having different dimensions. These
tubes are enclosed with wax stoppers in their inferior
part and are opened in the upper part. The pan-pipe
player creates the sounds by introducing the air in the
upper part.
