On the fourth day of our stay, we got up early because we had a planned trip to the Mediterranean mountains.

After a traditional breakfast of Spanish cuisine, we set off  on a hike in a good mood. The weather was sunny, so the 5 km hike to the mountain went quickly. There was a snow pit at the top which in the past was used as a storage of snow and ice for cooling food and for medical purposes for local residents. The reward for the climb was a beautiful view of the landscape and the sea.

After the hike, we moved to Convas de sant Joseph, where we took a boat ride through the underground cave. There was a guide who told us information about the cave. We learned that it is the longest navigable underground river in Europe. We ended the day with our families and churros with hot chocolate.
