Figure 4(A) and (B): Mylohyoid muscle (red arrow) cleaves lower oral cavity into
sublingual (blue arrow) and submandibular spaces sublingual - deep to mylohyoid
submandibular - superficial to mylohyoid. The geniohyoid muscle is seen superior to
the mylohyoid muscle (star) anterior belly of digastric (orange arrow) and
genioglossus (purple arrow) in the coronal image. On the axial T1 section below the
mylohyoid forms a lollipop appearance with the submandibular gland (yellow arrow).
