Scruffy Bear Pictures are creating a documentary about Team BRIT, which will lift the lid on the journey that the Berkshire-based race outfit will take towards their goal of racing at the most prestigious endurance race in the world, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

It will document the steps taken along the way to making racing history, as the first

all-disabled team to compete at Circuit de la Sarthe. This will also follow the team both on and off track, which will introduce the people that are a big part of such an inspirational story.

This will include the four drivers that are a big part of Team BRIT itself: Mark Allen, Martyn Compton, Cameron McDonnell and Gemma Trotter.

This will also provide the viewers with a welcome insight into how racing drivers prepare, as well as the thought process towards competing at the highest level possible.

“This documentary is a massive milestone for Team BRIT,” explained Founder and Team Manager, Dave Player.

“The drivers have worked really hard to re-build their lives, and motorsport has been a key factor in this process. It’s going to be great to show the world what goes on behind the scenes and how the drivers push themselves so hard. Their achievements are truly inspirational, and we hope this will have a positive impact on people with disabilities, PTSD and depression.”

“What Scruffy Bear Pictures is trying to do is to follow Team BRIT from their first year of racing, all the way up to taking part in the Le Mans 24 Hours,” explained Scruffy Bear Pictures owner, Darren. S. Cook, who has a personal connection via his parents, who have served in the military.

“The team have been amazing to work with, very open, very, very funny at times. It’s probably made my crew stand back a bit and appreciate what we have and what we are giving to the team."

"Unique and engaging content is what today’s brands are looking for. On-car branding is no longer sufficient on its own, to help generate the return on investment that companies currently demand,” says Mike Scudamore, Team BRIT Commercial Director.

"Scruffy Bear pictures are creating "that content" which will add real value and

opportunity, in order to maximize an association with Team BRIT. With the documentary still in the early stages, there is a great opportunity for your company to become part of the amazing journey that Team BRIT are undertaking."
