Jota Sport were deserving winners of the LMP2 trophy. Harry Tincknell was penalised early for jumping the start and set about scything back through the field. WEC debutant Mitch Evans also put in a superb double-stint to put himself, Tincknell and Simon Dolan onto the podium ahead of G-Drive Racing and a resurgeant Team Sard Morand.

GTE Pro was a hotly contested affair between the Aston Martin of Fernando Rees and Ferrari AF Corse of Gianmaria Bruni until a pit-lane error forced a drive-through for the AF Corse squad.

Alex Macdowell and RIchie Stanaway took their debut WEC victory by heading home the #92 Porsche Team Manthey 911 RSR of Richard Liets and Frederic Mackowiecki.

Mathias Lauda claimed a second consecutive victory and a remarkable fifth win from the last seven WEC events.
