Rene Rast took the #4 Audi R8 LMS ultra across the line after building a controlling lead during the early hours of Sunday morning. The #4 Audi was locked in a titanic scrap with the #1 Black Falcon Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 and the No. 20 BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert BMW Z4 GT3 – each sharing the lead during the night before penalties took the Merc and BMW out of serious contention.

Andreas Simonsen brought the Black Falcon Mercedes home in second with co-drivers Jeroen Bleekemolen, Christian Menzel and Lance David Arnold, some three minutes behind the #4 Audi. The No. 22 Rowe Racing Mercedes of Michael Zehe, Christian Hohenadel, Nico Bastian and

Maro Engel rounded out the podium in third in the Gullwing Mercedes with Zehe, Hohenadel and Bastian , with the Falken Motorsports Porsche of Henzler, Dumbreck, Ragginger and Imperatori, finished fourth after a tyre puncture ended their podium run.

The most notable incident of the weekend however belonged to the Chrysler Viper of Reinhard Schall locked up due to unsighted yellows in a slow-zone. Taking avoiding action not to crash into the stationary course car, the Viper sideswiped the Besaplast Mini of Kai Jordan. The Viper was consequently excluded from the event due to the incident.
