Anthony, how is the confidence currently within the Toyota camp for Le Mans in a fortnight’s time?

We think we have prepared in the best way possible for Le Mans, but you can never be confident at Le Mans. There are so many examples of over confidence in the past, so I am determined not to fall into that trap. We could not ask for better results before Le Mans, but Le Mans is another race and many things can happen. We feel fully prepared but we know that is no guarantee; we still need to do our job perfectly and hope we don’t have any issues with the factors out of our hands like traffic, weather and luck.

Have there been any further developments made on the TS040 since Spa for the attack to challenge for the win at Le Mans?

There are no further updates to the car; it is the same car that we raced at Spa so it is a proven package which we have a lot of data on already. Of course, the important thing is how we adapt the set-up and that is always a unique challenge at Le Mans.

Could we see Porsche make an impression on their first time back?

All three LMP1 manufacturers have a chance to win the race, no doubt about it, and we face very strong competition. Porsche showed impressive performance in the first two races so they should not be discounted. We know from our own experience in 2012 how challenging it is to come to Le Mans for the first time but don’t forget we led the race that year.
