Dan Gurney's All American Racers organisation (AAR) will feature in the construction of Nissan's 2015 LMP1 Le Mans challenger.
AAR’s Californian base has a large carbon-composities department that has been expanded via US government contracts. Nissan has yet to confirm or deny whether the Nissan has refused to deny whether its GT-R LM NISMO project will be based in North America.
"They would be a good partner, wouldn't they?" was Nissan global motorsport boss Darren Cox’s surreptitious comment to AUTOSPORT last week.
Cox however did go as far to say that that Nissan was returning to Le Mans grid with a "global project" - integrating technical know-how from Japan, Europe and the United States.
"This is very much a Nissan/NISMO project; we are not giving it to a TWR or an RML," Cox said.
