The #92 911 of Holzer, Lietz and Makowiecki had the best strategy in place after the #91 of Tandy, Bergmeister and Pilet lead for much of the race. The #97 Aston Martin of Turner and Mucke coming in for a stop and go penalty later in the race, but rounded off the podium with all three teams being on the lead lap in class.

Aston Martin Racings’ 10th anniversary was just getting warmed up, as the Am class saw a 1-2 from the Prodrive firm, as the Danish trio of David Heinemeier Hansson, Nicki Thiim and Kristian Poulson in the #95 Vantage finished ahead of the #98 sister car with Pedro Lamy, Paul Dalla Lana and Christoffer Nygaard.
