“Yeah, I guess you’re right.”
The elevator door opened and the two friends made their way towards their apartment. The sound of a click let Tobias know that the door was about to open. He stepped back and awaited the rush of air that followed opening the heavy door.
“Surprise!” a few voices shouted as Tobias walked in. Taking off his sunglasses, he made out a few blobs as his teammates standing in front of him.
“I thought seeing a few of the guys would cheer you up,” Seamus whispered in his ear and walked forward, leaving Tobias standing in awe. The team’s presence ensconced him warmly, and his anxiety from before dissipated. Just the thought that his friends cared enough for him to make him feel better about the fiasco he was in let his mind take a break, and for that he was grateful.
