All is Quiet
Micayla Paterno
All is quiet except for the faint whispers of birds hidden here and there.
As I ponder what all the chatter might be about, a smooth breeze makes its way through my hair.
I take a deep breath, inviting the air into my lungs. Familiar scents remind me that summer air will soon be replaced by autumn.
