The Dark

It’s almost like the dark
If the dark had a sibling
This would be it
It always comes around
Around to haunt you
Like a ghost in the dark
Comes to sneak up on you
Although they do have their differences
As all siblings do.
It can cause your heart to race and
Can cause your mind to hurt
Where the dark can be relaxing
The dark can be calming
But depression is not calming
Depression is scary
The dark is calming
But the dark is very horrid
And either one
Brings my greatest fears
To life.
