Additionally, showing in general in the 1990s was a quite different than it is now. Stone was a brand new company in 1995, the year the first North American Nationals was held. Original Finish Plastic was comprised only of Breyer and Hartland, and there were only breed classes, but these were judged using an odd combination of breed character and collectibility. At the first few shows, original finish and custom horses were shown together in Performance. There was a division for factory finished chinas and resins, but custom glazes did not yet exist. There were not a lot of artist resins, but what there were showed against custom horses.
