Accord Equality & Fairness Report 2020 Accord’s vision is to be a strong, diverse organisation, delivering positive outcomes to improve life chances for customers and wider communities. We aim to make equality & fairness something we live by, recruit by and measure by. It is part of our moral compass. The Public Sector Equality Duty requires us to give ‘due regard’ to the need to eliminate unlawful discrimination and harassment, promote equality of opportunity and foster good relations and positive attitudes. The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH), expects housing associations to understand and respond to the diverse needs of their customers, as outlined in the Tenant Involvement and Empowerment Standard. 5
