Wollaston and Jervis Court which are in very close
proximity to Paddockâs existing owned and managed
stock. The blocks are currently in Accord ownership and
management and they require significant refurbishment
and upgrade.
Accord wants to look at options to change the way the
blocks are let and managed in the future It is proposed
that one of the blocks are let as a co-op for older /
mature singles and couples, and one block for younger
single and couple, both groups who have potentially an
existing link to Paddock or who fulfil the co-operator
test.
The co-operative housing model could bring about some
real lasting positive change to the blocks and help bring
about a sense of ownership, community, increase the
co-ops membership and lead to members learning new
skills.
