Thank You Award
The Thank You Awards are for colleagues
demonstrating and working in The Accord
Way. Perhaps it’s for a particular job well
done, or someone that consistently applies
the behaviours in their day to day work or
someone that has gone above and beyond in
a particular task to achieve an outcome.
UMatter
We have also developed the U Matter
wellbeing hub as well as mechanisms to
support our staff on the front line, including
resilience and de-brief sessions . Health and
wellbeing was one of the areas colleagues
wanted Accord to focus on from feedback
from the 2018 staff survey
The Accord Way - Ambitious
Mental Health First Aid
Following on from the Umatter campaign,
over 85 colleagues have been trained
as Mental Health First Aiders to support
colleagues who have any concerns about
their mental wellbeing. Names of MHFA’s
with contact details are available on the
Wellbeing Hub.
Rehabworks
RehabWorks is a physio service that Accord
provides to support colleagues with
musculoskeletal disorders. It includes
access to free physiotherapy advice and
treatment. The service can help with the
recovery of sprains, strains and other causes
of musculoskeletal pain.
When RehabWorks receives the referral
form, the colleague will receive an initial
telephone assessment conducted by a
physiotherapist who will be able to provide
specialist advice and determine the next
steps.
