Trainee Quantity Surveyor
I have now been with
Accord Housing for over 4
years. I started my journey in the Customer
First Department slowly taking on more
responsibilities.
The Accord Way - Ambitious
I was offered an opportunity to upskill by doing an
NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration, which I
successfully completed.
18 months after joining Accord Housing, a new role
was advertised for a Customer Care Coordinator within
Construction Services, which was of interest to me. I
applied and was fortunate to be offered the position. I
was responsible for the Customer Care of all new build
properties for the in house Construction Team, as well
as Build and Commercial Administration. I started to get
more involved in various ways for different projects and
realised I wanted to further my career in Construction.
4 years on I am a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and last
September enrolled on the Chartered Surveyor Degree
Apprenticeship at the University of Wolverhampton. I
am lucky to have such support from my team, who have
helped me to progress and get where I am today.
