Tell us about yourself?
I am a blood washed believer, who is on a mission to eradicate evil and injustices by the power of the Holy Spirit and the blood to the Lamb, declaring liberty and wholeness because of the sacrifices of Jesus. This is a daily journey first in my mind and heart, then my family, and all those whom the Lord lays in my path.
"What I Require" could you tell our readers about the book?
“What I Require,” is a collection of my journal and personal prayers inspired by the Holy Spirit over the past seven to ten years. I chose about ninety prayers that the readers could explore daily for a three month period or as often as desired.
How did you come up with the title?
It just dropped in my spirit. I was reluctant to obey the Lord in this project. We have been through many storms and these prayers or the Word of God is what brought us through. The Lord required me to trust, obey and believe Him through every test, trial and to stay humble through every victory.
What or who inspired you to write this book?
I was simply trying to be obedient.
With this being your first book, what was the hardest part about writing the book?
I think the hardest part of writing this book was exposing my inner feelings, tears and fears. Being free in your prayer closet is much easier than being an open book to all who would read it. Sharing my intimacy with the Lord, my Abba, was a great challenge.
What do you want your readers to understand or focus on when reading your book?
As I compiled the book, I researched other devotional type books and saw that the authors had in depth commentary included with the passaged they selected. I prayed and asked the Lord if I was to go back and attempt to do the same. The response I received was, no. So, I would like the readers to focus and understand that they have access to answers to any question they may have in and through the Word of God, and by the power of the Holy Spirit revelation will come and bring deliverance, healing and understanding of the power which lays within them. Eph 1:17-21.
Is there a book or person that has inspired you the most?
The bible is my favorite book. I prefer the King James Version. The person of the trinity is my inspiration.
What do you want readers to take away from your book?
Hope and confidence. Once you begin to understand how loved you are by a loving and powerful God, it makes you fortified in your beliefs, actions and conversations.
Where can people find your book?
Lulu.com, Barnes and Noble, Apples' iBook store, I have a limited supply or at my website, www.greaterlinksenterprises.com
When should we anticipate the next book?
I don't have an exact date, possible a year or two. I have notebooks of poetry that I've been told needs to be release, a possible audio book in the making.
