raising God is not just a verbal expression, it's also a foot tapping hand waving feeling that many of us do every Sunday morning. But for these two ministries, praising God is taken to a much higher level of worship. The Ebenezer Agape Praise Dancers and Mime Ministry physically praises God without words. With the help of music and visuals the praise dancers and mime ministry give "WORSHIP" new meaning.

The dance ministry started at Ebenezer Ministries under the leadership and direction of Diane Wiley in the late 1990's. Soon after Sharita Galloway continued the leadership of the dance ministry. Currently consisting of 28 active praise dance members. Our ministry currently consists of female dancers ranging from the ages of 12 including women in their 30’s. The ministry welcomes all who have a passion and desire to worship God vigorously through dance.

Sharita expalins, "The vision is to worship God in Spirit and in truth in dance." We are called to submit to our Bishop and his leadership and the leadership he has placed in the church as we submit to God. We are to use rhythmic holy movement of our bodies to serve and surrender to God and give Him the glory for everything. That also means operating in excellence at all times.

Our hope is that in our worship, unbelievers and the congregation would desire to know God and that they may see Him and not us. In addition, as a servant in leadership my prayer is that the members of ministry will grow in their relationship with God and that their lifestyles would reflect Him as well. We will always seek God in every movement, vision, and song and we trust that in His timing He will continue to grow this dance ministry and Ebenezer and teach us new innovative things to grow His kingdom.

The mime ministry also started under different leadership. In 2004, Chancey and Danica Williams handed the leadership over to Demetrius and Yuriko Davis. Three members were in the ministry at the time and it grew to 21 members.
