As A Man Thinketh In His Heart, So Is He (Proverbs 23:7)
My identity is determined by what I think about myself, the situations in my life and my future goals. The influences; be it negative or positive, how I respond to disappointments, if I get depressed and believe I can never do anything right falls to my blessings. When everything I do is wrong and I use excuses such as “I am only human” and I fall short of the glory or start the blame game by blaming other people for my shortcomings, instead of admitting my own faults. "To err is human" (Acts 17:11). I was born into sin. My self-esteem gets very low and I fall into fear, indecisions, doubt, etc. Focusing on Biblical truths can counter those excuses and give me a new perspective that GOD loves and cares for me he is not through working on me yet. Now, I can see good things, I am dead to sin but alive to God THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.
