Through interpretive analysis , students identify causal relationships in the development of the plot and the interrelationships between the characters .
Middle part The emphasis is on the main character who , due to difficult life circumstances in an alcoholic state , unaware of what he is doing to death , beat his own daughter , his sweetheart . Students choose the roles they will represent in the Trial workshop ( lawyers , prosecutors , witnesses , defendant , judges , jury ). Once students are given their role they explore and prepare for their performance in the courtroom .
