Library / Reading Department
Students will be able embrace their creativity and imagination when they check out the JFK Library ’ s brandnew Creative Kids Art Kits ! Each kit contains a variety of materials to support students ’ independence and passion . For example , one of the kits contains a 10 by 10 sketchbook , a 42- piece colored and sketch pencil set , an 18-piece double-sided multicolored marker set , a sharpener , and an eraser . The 9 kits will begin circulating in early December for 1 week , with the option to renew for an extra week . Students sign an agreement when they take out a kit that they will respect the work of others , keep their work school-appropriate , and will return all items . This project is the result of Library Assistant , Karen Casale ’ s application and awarded by a grant from the Tobacco Valley Teachers Federal Credit Union .
