09 LOVE ME JONATHAN GOH you look at your lover’s body sprawled across the sheets the crisp comfort of a tousled nest hides the creases he is not beautiful, you think, but it does not matter he is here these moments are fleeting, almost ethereal in their briefness a quiet hour, maybe two if he’s lucky, if time permits you arrange to meet in the gaps between his lives his work dictates your existence together it’s difficult, people always say that it’s difficult but you think it’s easier than it could have been sometimes you miss the sight of him reading incomprehensible journals in bed after sex you roam around, a little lost when he’s gone busy yourself with work, book clients through the weeks it is not your thought of him that makes yo
