The inaugural EPC India conference was organized on 7th
September 2018, Mumbai, India having theme
'Addressing the changing landscape of business'. The
event addressed the latest trends, opportunities,
challenges, strategies and technologies for procuring and
delivering quality and sustainable EPC projects for the oil
and gas industry. The conference was sponsored by L & T
Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited. EPC India is one of the
perfect platforms to meet target market audience and
network with senior-level decision makers who are leading
the way in the industry.
The conference had over 75 delegates attend & network
with fellow oil & gas professionals. The event offered the
opportunity to exchange views on topical issues with
regard to the development of the EPCI industry.
The conference chairman Satish Palekar, EVP & Head
Offshore, L & T Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited during
his inaugural speech told that since the industry continues
to recover operational excellence is needed to stay
competitive.
This conference, the first of its kind, was created with the
goal of learning. It is a forum for the oil & gas industry to
come together and share experiences, collaborative
opportunity for all of us to learn from each other. There is a
need for informed and disciplined investment decisions
supported by agile and responsive planning processes for
upstream companies to not just survive, but to prosper.
Technology was the essence of the conference & the
presentations revealed how the indsutry can adapt new
techniques for sustainable future.
The one day conferences featured dozens of
presentations, keynote speakers focussing on the outlook
for the industry, tecchnoligical advancements, digital
platforms. Presenters included solution providers, key
executives and other decision makers from a broad array
of energy companies.
As the EPC in Oil & Gas Conference evolves, an even
broader cross-section of the industry will be invited to
connect, address challenges and explore solutions.
